Twenty-two year old Sydney’s life is going along pretty well. She’s working her way through college, has a great roommate and a great boyfriend until she doesn’t…
Sydney finds out that her boyfriend has been cheating on her with her roommate and suddenly finds herself homeless. A few random coincidences finds her temporarily staying with a neighbor she only knows through the music he plays on the balcony.
Ridge has lively roommates and some secrets of his own. Sydney finds herself having feelings for Ridge while working through her own dating dramas. She tries to find out where she fits in to all the chaos in Ridge’s apartment.
There is also a music soundtrack that goes along with this book so as they are writing songs, you can actually listen to them.
This was an easy book to read. I enjoyed the characters and there were enough twists and turns in the plot to keep me interested. I found the roommates and their antics to be a lot of fun. I thought the music tie-in was interesting and a different twist. I actually read the companion novel to this, Maybe Not. It was the same story told from one of the roommate’s point of view. At first, I thought I would be bored by it, but it actually gave some great insight to a back story you didn’t even realize was going on. This would be a good beach/pool read.
